Brian Welch, D.O.
Brian Welch, D.O., is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in minimally-invasive laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Welch also specializes in GI surgery.
He earned his medical degree at Touro University California, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Welch completed his general surgery residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center before completing a fellowship in minimally-invasive surgery at New York Medical College. He has achieved certification in general surgery from the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Welch has completed various medical research and presentations. In 2021, Dr. Welch received the Resident Achievement Award for Outstanding MIS Resident from The Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons.

Ashley Childs, DNP, FNP-BC
Ashley Childs, DNP, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in bariatric services. Her primary focus is wellness promotion, nutritional guidance and medical assisted weight loss for patients with weight-related health conditions.
She is passionate about helping patients build a healthier relationship with food, understand their bodies, and develop realistic, lasting strategies for success. Her goal is to create a supportive and judgment-free environment where patients feel empowered to take control of their health and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at New Mexico Highlands University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at New Mexico State University.
